S. Marti & Cie bowfront crystal regulator, ca. 1883.  A 9-inch brass case, badly tarnished, with four beveled glasses; the front door glass is bowed.  The dial is brass, also badly tarnished, with a decorated center ring.  The pendule de Paris movement will not run; the pendulum holds mercury vials.  The back of the movement bears a medal stamp and the maker’s name, with “Made in France”.  Oil and elbow grease are needed.  $50-$100.
