35.      $1200

Seth Thomas “Chime Clock No. 266”, ca. 1914.  One of the most sought-after Sonora Chime clocks, with eight bells and nine hammers, playing Whittington and Westminster chimes, or alternating the hours with both.  An 18.5-inch mahogany case with blond wood inlay in front and a silvered dial behind a convex, beveled glass; some wear to the dial, and the case is ready for rejuvenation.  Running and chiming on cue, and of course, sounds great.  AAC sold one last January for $1857.   $1500-$2000.
