150.           $800

Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. “No. 6˝ Belgrade”, 1883.  The Belgrade was a very popular clock in its time (and still is) and came in both shelf and wall models, in both walnut and ash. Ash is less common, as is the shelf model.  The wall model is designated No. 5˝.  This ash case is 32.5 inches tall in an old finish with old (possibly original) glass in the door and newer paper dials.  The brass bezels and hands have been polished. The 8-day, time-and-strike movement was made by Welch for the ICCC; it is running and striking and the calendar is advancing. The penciled date inside at the bottom is 11/83, number 9.  This is about as nice an example as you will find, and an ICCC key is included.  Case Antiques sold one last fall for $800.  $800–$1200.
