250.             $50

Jefferson Electric Co. “Golden Hour”, 1952. An ever-popular electric mystery clock from the 1950’s; this one is stamped 1952 inside.  It stands 9 inches tall with a gilded finish over brass; you must be careful not to polish with abrasives.  This one is in outstanding condition, but the motor has run its last and will need replacement; TimeSavers sells the motors for $45, and they are easy to install.  Once running these are reliable clocks and attract attention, except from grandchildren, who aren’t impressed by 1950’s technology.  Golden Hours are selling on eBay these days for about $100.  $50-$75.
