F. Kroeber Clock Co. “Ulysses”, ca. 1878.  A spelter-case clock with a statue of Ulysses holding his bow.  The detailed case has been painted, the statue retains its original bronze finish. I see no cracks or missing parts; the clock is 23 inches tall.  The glass is new, the dial repapered, the hands appropriate. The catalog calls for a lever movement but this holds an 8-day, time-and-strike pendulum movement that is signed Kroeber.  It is running and striking.  There are two good labels on the back.  $200-$300.
