Seth Thomas “Tudor No. 1”, ca. 1879.  A classic Seth Thomas shelf clock, 15 inches tall with a perfect rosewood veneer.  The glass is original, the dial pan new galvanized steel, the hands Seth Thomas issue.  The 8-day time-and-strike Seth Thomas lyre movement is running and striking on a wire gong.  Good label inside, the key operates the door latch. $100-$150.
