Seth Thomas “Alto”, ca. 1921.  A 16-inch wide adamantine-cased tambour, 9.5 inches tall. The dark walnut adamantine is without nicks or chips; the dial is painted, the hands correct, the dial glass convex, the brass sash could use some polish.  The 8-day time-and-strike signed movement is running and striking on the cathedral gong on the hours and half-hours.  No label.  $50-$125.
