Chelsea Clock Co. “Decatur”, ca. 1931. A brass ship’s wheel case on a mahogany backboard and base that strikes ship’s bells. The clock is 13.75 inches tall by 11 inches wide (the base is 10 inches wide and 5 inches deep).  The silvered dial is 4 inches in diameter with proper hands and light wear. There is noticeable oxidation to the base, especially on the right side.  It is running and striking appropriately.  No label, and the dimensions do not correspond exactly to the 1931 description for the Decatur.
