Waterbury Clock Co. “Wales”, ca. 1913.  A wonderful little clock with a classic form and a visible escapement.  The 9.75-inch case is Circassian walnut with a polished finish; the dial glass is convex, the two-part dial enameled, with ruby pallets on the escapement.  The 8-day, time and half-hour strike round movement is signed and running, striking on a small cathedral gong.  A label on the bottom.  What’s not to like?  $100–$200.
