Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Cordova”, 1904.  An 11-inch mahogany cabinet case that has been refinished and looks great.  There are carved half-columns on each side with bronze (originally gold-plated) fittings, as well as bronze ornaments on the frieze and below the dial.  The dial glass is flat and beveled, in a brass sash; the porcelain dial is signed, with proper hands.  The round movement is unusual and is stamped with the ST logo; this model came with both 8- and 15-day time and half-hour strike movements, and I don’t know which one this is, but it is running and striking on the cathedral gong.  No label.  The bottom has a date stamp of 1904.  A stellar example of this City Series clock. $100–$250.
