116.           $200

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Chime Clock No. 16”, ca. 1913.  A large 18.5-inch-tall mahogany case (8.25 inches deep) with an old, slightly crackled finish and just a few edge chips.  The dial glass is convex over an 8-inch porcelain dial with some chips and cracking at the chime/silent lever and the winding arbors; the porcelain dial was an upgrade over the standard silvered dial.  The hands are proper.  The 8-day, time, strike, and chime movement is running, striking, and chiming as expected on four bells.  AAC sold one in 2020 for $629, but prices have come down considerably since then.  $200–$400.
