Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Square Kitchen”, 1928-29. A 9-inch square
white enamel case with various homemaker scenes in blue ink in the dial surround. The surface is stained, faded, and yellowed,
and will not clean up easily. The hands are original. There is a signed 8-day, time-only brass movement inside with the
pendulum hanging just below the case. It is running, slightly out of plumb. No label. Seth Thomas made half-a-dozen
models like this from 1926-1929. Then the market crashed. There was a nursery model as well. $10–$25.
