250.         $100

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Empire No. 13 and Lion” crystal regulator, ca. 1913. A 15.5-inch brass crystal regulator (with the Medici Lion on top) in the original finish with significant loss of the gilding throughout. It’s not down to bare metal in most places but does have an overall dull finish.  There are four perfect beveled glasses and a decorated porcelain dial with several very faint hairline cracks.  The hands are correct.  The 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is signed and running, striking on a standing cathedral gong.  AAC sold one in 2020 with greater wear for $225. $100–$250.
