Welch, Spring & Co. “Cary, V.P.”, ca. 1880. A beautiful 20.5-inch polished rosewood case with three original glasses.  I see no damage or missing ornaments.  The painted dial has some chipping and touch-up, with proper Patti hands.  The 8-day, time-and-strike Patti movement is running but the click-stop on the time side is loose and winding it can be an adventure. There is a sandwich-glass pendulum and a good label on the back.  A very nice example; AAC sold one two years ago for $763.  $500–$750.
