Junghans shelf clock, ca. 1890.  A 16-inch walnut case with a clean stained finish.  The flat dial glass is beveled, the dial porcelain with the Junghans logo, the hands old and proper but with some surface roughness.  The bezel stays shut but does not latch.  The 8-day time and half-hour strike movement is signed and running, striking on a wire gong.  No label.  $50–$150.
