Serpentine two-weight Vienna, ca. 1890.  A 48-inch serpentine case with a very dark, glossy finish and three old/original glasses; the crest has been broken and poorly repaired.  The finials all look original to the case; the porcelain dial is perfect, the hands typical.  The 8-day (presumably), time-and-strike movement is unmarked; it is running and striking on the hours and half-hours on a wire gong, driven by two small brass weights.  The large brass pendulum bob is hollow.  $200–$400.
