Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Ship’s Bell Lever”, ca. 1884. A 10.5-inch tall lever one-day movement that strikes ship’s bells on the bell below the dial. The brass case is badly oxidized,
as is the bell, and the dial is badly oxidized and worn. The hands are correct, and it is running and striking, although I am
not sure it is striking properly. I did not open it to examine the movement. The paper label on the back is dark and mostly
missing. $25–$50.
