Colonial Manufacturing Co. “Saw
Clock”, ca. 1980. A 26-inch wood base with a “saw blade” which the small timepiece at the top rachets down, serving as its own
weight. The pendulum is the small lever that sits over the 3.5-inch porcelain dial “Anno 1790”. There is only one hand
(one hand is missing), and it will not run. The round knob that secures the saw to the base at the bottom is also missing. A restoration project for an interesting reproduction of a very early gravity pendulum clock. $10–$50.
