E.N. Welch Manufacturing Co. “Le Roi” Patent Case, Cast front series, ca. 1880.  A second example of this model, again in a worn nickel finish.  The glass is beveled, the paper dial yellowed with a large opening to view the nickel-plated movement, and proper hands.  The movement is signed and running strongly, with a newer hairspring.  Most of a label inside the cover.  These used to be popular to collect if you could get the full series, plus the two finishes and the one and 8-day models.  $50–$100.
