Sessions Clock Co. “Aquarius”, ca. 1954. A
corded electric clock that appears to give a view into an aquarium, with two angelfish swimming around the inner clock dial in synchrony. There is a 7 W bulb in the base that can be turned off and on from the back, allowing the clock to work as a nightlight. Ingenious! The clock is 9 inches tall on a gold-painted base, with the clock in the middle of the aquarium. The clock is running but the
motor is a bit noisy. The angelfish are swimming and the light bulb lights. This clock is pictured on the cover of Tran
Duy Ly’s book, Sessions Clocks”. $100–$200.
