Sessions Clock Co. “Salem” banjo, ca. 1927. A 42-inch mahogany case with some wear and dullness.  Both glasses are in excellent shape and match the glasses shown in the catalog illustration (Ly, Sessions Clocks, page 55).  There are brass side-arms and a brass eagle finial.  The dial glass is convex, the silvered dial in good condition will light wear.  The hands are original.  The 8-day, time-only pendulum movement is signed and running.  No label.  No recent sales of this uncommon model.  $100–$150.
