Waterbury Clock Co. “Galesburg”, ca. 1906. A 53-inch oak case with a clean finish. All the finials look correct, the door glass is old. The dial is signed paper
with considerable wear, the hands are appropriate. The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed; I’m having difficulty keeping
it running and the strike has definite problems – it won’t strike and then it won’t stop. I think the movement will need service. It strikes on a small cathedral gong. The pendulum stick and bob look correct and there is a black Waterbury label inside on
the bottom, as well as instructions on the back. $200–$300.
