Waterbury Clock Co. “Springfield”, ca. 1909. It only
came in oak, here a time-only 8-day runner. The refinished case is 39 inches long with all the carvings in place. The
door glass is wavy, possibly original, and the paper dial is toned, faded and signed at the bottom. The hands are Waterbury. The 8-day, time-only movement is signed and running without problem. The pendulum stick and bob are Waterbury issue, there is
a Waterbury beat scale, and there are several labels, including a black label inside on the bottom and one on the back, as well as
inside on the backboard. No recent sales that I can find. $175–$250.
