Waterbury Clock Co. “Halifax”, ca. 1893. A
small hanging clock from Waterbury, just 32.5-inches long in a stripped oak case that has not been varnished. The tip of
the lower right “foot” has been replaced. The door glass is old, the dial old paper with the Waterbury signature at the
bottom, and old/original hands. The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed and running, striking on hours and half-hours on
a cathedral gong. The pendulum and bob are Waterbury issue, but this is not the pendulum shown in the catalog illustration. There
are two good labels on the back. AAC sold this clock in 2023 for $350. $275–$350.
