194. $500
Foster Campos cross-banded banjo, 1992. A 33-inch
banjo clock with cross-banding on the frames and two beautiful S Willard Patent glasses, flanked by brass side-arms. The throat,
box door, case and bezel hinge are all stamped ‘12’, with a ‘92’ stamped into the case inside the lower door. The dial glass
is convex, the painted dial signed and clean, with proper hands. The 8-day weight-driven movement is signed by Campos in Pembroke,
MA and is running, driven by a lead weight with a Foster Campos die-stamp. There is a weight shield and a working pendulum tie-down. No label. A darn nice example. $500–$700.
