Foster Campos gilded presentation banjo, 1992. A 40-inch banjo with a gilded base and gilded rope twist borders on the front panels, on a mahogany case.  Everything is in like-new condition, including the painted glasses by Tom Moberg.  The dial glass is convex, the painted dial signed, proper hands, and an unsigned 8-day, time-only weight-driven movement that is running like a champ.  The lead weight is marked Foster Campos.  The interior is marked “3” and “92”, and three is also marked on the throat piece and the box door.  AAC has not previously sold this model, but Schmidt’s Antiques sold one in 2021 for $700.  $500–$750.
