173. $100
E.N. Welch Manufacturing Co. “Revere Calendar”, ca.
1900. This is the same model as the Star Pointer, but was a special order model. The pressed oak case is 32 inches
long with an old finish; both glasses are old and likely original. The metal dial is chalky but clean, the hands are improper
replacements for Welch hands. The 8-day, time-only movement is very dirty and will run only briefly; the built-in calendar is
advancing. There is a good label on the back. An uncommon model, although the Star Pointer Calendar is a bit more common. $100–$150.
