Ansonia Clock Co. “Regulator A Calendar”, ca. 1906. A 32-inch walnut case with an old and crinkly finish. The trim
ring around the dial is ebonized; some slight veneer damage on the lower right. The dial glass is modern, the lower glass original,
with Regulator A lettering in silver. The dial is paper with some wear and discoloration, and with the Ansonia logo and name
at the bottom. The hands are proper, including the gold calendar hand. The signed 8-day, time-only calendar movement is
running and the calendar hand is advancing. A proper pendulum bob but no label, inside or on the back. $100–$200.
