Ansonia Clock Co. “Salem”, ca. 1894. A 15-inch walnut case with an old finish.  The flat dial glass is beveled, the dial porcelain with a gold center piece, and proper hands.  The finials are missing their tips.  The 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is signed but will need attention to get it running; it does strike on a cathedral gong.  There is a label on the back of the door.  $50–$100.
