127. $50
E.N. Welch Mfg. Co. “Tural”, ca. 1872. A rare model
that I have not seen before; Welch’s version of Ingraham’s Doric, with a square lower door. No sales on LiveAuctioneers or the
Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide. The 15.5-inch case is clean rosewood and walnut veneer; the dial glass is original,
the lower glass looks like a modern replacement. The painted dial is original and in good condition, the hands are period. The 30-hour time-and-strike movement is signed and running, striking on a wire gong. There is a toned and brittle label inside. $50–$150.
