Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Troy V.P.”, ca. 1880. A 15.5-inch clean, walnut case with old glass and the original signed, painted dial.  This is a “city series” clock; the V.P. in the name stands for “visible pendulum”.  The dial shows some soiling and flaking, the hands are correct.  The signed 8-day, time and half-hour strike lyre movement is running and striking on the nickel bell.  Note the nickel dial bezel, bell, and pendulum.  A small clock built to last.  No recent sales that I can find.  $100–$200.
