Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Atlanta”, ca. 1886. A beautiful rosewood and walnut case with gilding on the front.  The 19.5-inch case has a rich, clean finish; the door glass is period/original with gilded trim.  The painted dial is signed and has yellowed; the hands are proper.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed and running, striking on the nickel bell.  There is a proper pendulum bob and a black illegible label inside on the bottom.  One of ST’s prettier “city series” clocks.  No recent sales on LiveAuctioneers, but AAC sold one in 2020 for $125.  $100–$200.
