E Ingraham & Co. “Grecian” ca. 1871. One of the most popular shelf clocks, even my wife likes this one. The case is 14.5 inches tall with rosewood veneer on the
sides and maple rosettes and dial bezel; the finish is clean. The glass is original, the original dial has been repainted, the
hand are proper replacements. The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is die-stamped with the maker and is running and striking
on an iron bell. There is a good green label inside. AAC sold a rosewood Grecian in 2023 for $185. $125–$200.
