103. $125
Chauncey Jerome 8-day fusee steeple, 1845-1850. A 20-inch
sharp gothic with good mahogany veneer and a clean finish. Both glasses are period/original with a preserved tablet of McLean
Asylum in Somerville, Mass. The original metal dial has been papered over, the hands are period/original. The 8-day, double-fusee
movement is unsigned; it winds on brass fusees below the movement. It is running and striking on the wire gong, and there is
an alarm hooked up but untested; the alarm strikes on a brass bell above the alarm. There is a good label inside. $125–$250.
Can I return my clock if I don’t like it?
Absolutely! Save your packing and box, you have 30 days from receipt to return
it for a full refund if you are unhappy. If the clock is not as described, or I missed something important and that is not evident
from the pictures, I will refund your shipping costs (both ways) as well. Find another auction company that does that!
