Sessions Clock Co. “Chippendale”, ca. 1932.  The 17-inch case (with wooden finials) closely matches the catalog illustration for this model shown in Ly, Sessions Clocks on page 239.  However, the movement here is a Gilbert 8-day time-and-strike brass movement, replacing the Sessions 8-day time and half-hour strike movement that should be in there.  The glasses are modern with a modern tablet, similar to that shown in the catalog illustration; the hands are replacements as is the paper dial over zinc, or a wood dial board.  It is running and striking, with a Sessions pendulum bob.  No label.  $25–$50.
