Seth Thomas Clock Co. “O.G. Kitchen”, ca. 1874. A 16-inch
case veneered in rosewood with a thick crusty finish. Both glasses are likely original with a tablet showing a Chinese coastal
scene; there are considerable scattered losses. The contoured metal dial is soiled and with considerable chipping; the hands
are Seth Thomas issue, as is the clean 8-day, time-and-strike spring-driven movement, with a Thomaston die-stamp. It is running
and striking on a wire gong. There is a Thomaston label with some staining. Ready for your case rejuvenation efforts. $25–$50.
