Forestville Manufacturing Co. 30-hour OG, 1842-1849.  A 26-inch mahogany case with an old clean finish and some chips and repairs.  Both glasses are period/original, the tablet an old repaint. The dial pan is an aluminum replacement with an old glossy paper dial and mismatched hands.  The signed 30-hour time-and-strike movement is weight-driven by two appropriate cast iron weights and regulated by an embossed brass pendulum bob.  It runs, but the strike is sluggish and probably needs to be cleaned.  There is a complete label inside.  $25–$100.
