300. $250
English general post office clock, ca. 1900. A traditional
8-day fusee timepiece, 14 inches in diameter in oak with a clean finish and a repainted 12-inch convex dial. The dial glass
is a replacement, the hands proper/original. There are two thumb-screws to adjust the pitch of the clock and a door underneath
to access the pendulum. The 8-day, time-only fusee movement is unsigned; it is running nicely. No label to be found, and
one side peg to secure the clock to the case is missing. $250–$500.
