287. $250
Gustav Becker two-weight Vienna, ca. 1925. A 48-inch case with walnut or mahogany veneer and old glass in the door. There is some wear to the case and finish and the bottom
finial is not original. The two-part porcelain dial is without chips or cracks and bears the Becker logo, along with a
seconds bit and proper hands. The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is die-stamped with the maker name, a gold medal award, and
a serial number dating the movement to around 1925. It is running without issue and is striking a coiled wire gong on the half-hour
and counting the hours. Other than the light wear this is a pretty solid example. $250–$500.
