Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Ship’s Bell Lever”, ca. 1885. A one-day lever movement in a brass case, 10.5 inches long, that strikes ship’s bells. The bezel lifts off, the glass appears
to be modern, the metal dial is badly corroded (too long at sea?). It is signed and the hands are proper. The movement
is not signed; it does not run reliably and will need service. The strike, with two consecutively striking hammers, will work
but the lever to turn on or off is stuck in off. Just a shred of a label on the back. $50–$100.
