254. $50
Two American carriage clocks, ca. 1910. The
one on the left is a Waterbury, but the model is not shown in Ly’s books on Waterbury Clocks; the right one is by the Jennings Bros. Both are under 5 inches tall and have been professionally replated. The porcelain dials are signed, with some hairlines in the
Jennings Bros. dial. The hands look correct. I believe they are 8-day, time-and-strike with a repeater button on top. The Waterbury movement is signed, the Jennings Bros. movement is not. The Waterbury is wound tight and will not run or strike,
and I cannot move the hands. It will need service. The Jennings Bros. is running and striking on a small bell underneath,
and the repeater function is working. The hands can be adjusted. Both for one money. $50–$200.
