245. $500
Bradley & Hubbard lantern clock, ca. 1885. Sometimes
called a Parade Clock as they were carried in nighttime parades and outings; there is a candle holder inside and the dial is milk
glass to let the light through. The thin brass case is 13 inches tall with a loop hanger on top; the square case is pierced
and has colored glass inserts, faceted and round. All the glass inserts are present and unbroken; the dial is original in good
condition, the hands are replacements. There is a one-day backwind movement inside that is running. The bottom is stamped
with the makers’ name. AAC sold one last summer for $1000. $500–$1000.
