Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Column”, ca. 1860.  A second example of this classic miniature (16 inch) column & cornice clock.  Refinished rosewood veneer without a blemish, three old glasses (mirror may be an old replacement) with the original gilded borders, an old repainted, contoured dial, replaced Seth Thomas hands, and an 8-day time-and-strike signed (Plymouth Conn) time-and-strike movement that is running and striking on a wire gong, mounted on a Seth Thomas base.  There is a dark label inside with the location of manufacture, Plymouth Hollow. What’s not to like?  $100–$200.
