Sessions Clock Co. “Alden” banjo timepiece, ca. 1927.  The 35-inch (with finial) solid mahogany case has been stripped but not revarnished.  It needs a coat of varnish or wax.  Both glasses are in good condition with no losses; this model is shown on page 50 of Ly’s book on Sessions clocks.  The silvered dial shows some discoloration and the hands are rusty.  There is a convex glass over the dial.  The 8-day, time-only movement is signed and running.  A partial label on the back.  $50–$150.
