153.             $100

E. Ingraham Co. “Crown Drop”, ca. 1890.  The partial label on the back indicates that this clock was made by the E. Ingraham Co. for W.P. Edwards, possibly a jeweler/retailer or a company that distributed the clocks to customers or salesmen.   The 28-inch refinished black walnut case resembles other Ingraham cases and the movement is stamped E Ingraham Co.  The stenciled glass is modern and the paper dial an older replacement; the hands are period/correct.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking on a cathedral gong.  There is an alarm hooked up that winds separately and was not tested.  The pendulum is Ingraham issue.  A pretty example of this style of kitchen wall clocks; note the level tube at the bottom and thermometer at the top, both working.  $100–$200.

Can I return my clock if I don’t like it?

Absolutely!  Save your packing and box, you have 30 days from receipt to return it for a full refund if you are unhappy.  If the clock is not as described, or I missed something important and that is not evident from the pictures, I will refund your shipping costs (both ways) as well.  Find another auction company that does that!
