134.              $500

Waterbury Clock Co. “Dresden”, ca. 1915. A beautiful polished walnut case, 50 inches long, with the perfect amount of patina to give it that cherished antique look. The crest, base, and finials are as shown in Ly, Waterbury Clocks & Watches, page 201; the door glass is likely original, and the dial is flawless porcelain, with the original hands.  The 8-day time-and-strike movement is signed and running, striking on the cathedral gong.  The pendulum stick and bob are Waterbury issue, and there is a black Waterbury label inside on the bottom. A rare clock, as only one is listed on LiveAuctioneers and one on the Antique Clocks Identification and Price Guide over 20 years. $500–$1000.
