73. $100
E Ingraham Co. “King”, ca. 1900. Ly does not show Ingraham
marketing this model, but the movement says Ingraham and it looks original. The label on the back is lost. The walnut
case is 24 inches tall with the center finial and has a very clean finish; the stenciled door glass is old. The dial is clean
glossy paper, signed Ingraham, the hands are appropriate. The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking on a cathedral
gong and there is a remote alarm hooked up (untested). The nickel pendulum is either Ingraham or Waterbury. A better than
average shelf clock at a modest price. $100–$200.
