70. $150
Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Lyons”, 1890. A “city series”
clock, a 21.5-inch walnut case with a clean and polished finish. The door glass is likely original with good retention of the
stencil. The signed paper dial sits in an embossed nickel bezel with moderate wear and Seth Thomas hands. The 8-day, time
and half-hour strike movement is signed and running, striking a cathedral gong and regulated by a nickel ST pendulum. There
is a dark label inside on the bottom. This is an uncommon model, the first time I have seen it. There are only two sales
on LiveAuctioneers, most recently in 2014. $150–$300.
