E Ingraham & Co. “Grecian Mosaic” ca. 1871. One of the most popular shelf clocks, even my wife likes this one. The case is 14.5 inches tall with mahogany alternating with
maple(?) veneer; the finish is clean. The dial glass, painted dial, and hands are original. The 8-day, time-and-strike
movement is die-stamped with the maker and is running and striking on an iron bell. There is a good green label inside and an
additional patent label on the back of the door. AAC sold a Mosaic last summer for $250. $150–$250.
