E Ingraham & Co. “Oriental”, 1874-1880. A second example of this uncommon model, again 18 inches tall with good rosewood veneer and an old finish. Note that this one
differs from #67 in that only the small center rosette serves as the pendulum door, and the bottom of the case is open to allow you
to hang the bob. The dial glass is modern, the paper dial has been shellacked (a bad idea). The Maltese hands are replacements. The signed 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking; there is a worn but passable label on the back. $300–$500.
